Fundraisers

Our Kiwanis Club is a 501c3 non-profit and we rely on the generosity of donors to fund our programs and services. To raise funds, we hold various events throughout the year. Listed below are some of our current fundraisers.


Mad Hatter Tea Party

Step down the rabbit hole and join the Kiwanis Club of Laguna-Elk Grove and Cosumnes CSD for a delightful tea party filled with games, art activities, brunch, and plenty of Wonderland fun!

  • Cost: $10 per person

Event Includes

  • Brunch with small sandwiches, desserts, and beverages
  • Games and art activities
  • Wonderland-themed fun for all ages
  • Tea party attire, silly hats, or Alice in Wonderland costumes encouraged

Whiskey and Wine Tasting Fundraiser

Join the Kiwanis Club of Laguna-Elk Grove for an elegant evening of fine wines, premium whiskeys, delicious appetizers, live music, and great company, all while supporting local youth and community programs.

Every ticket helps support Kiwanis programs that serve children and families throughout our community.

Halloween Home Tour

Sign ups are now closed. Join us next year for our 7th Annual Halloween Home Tour!

Love to get out with your friends or family to look at all the spooky decorations? Maps (and limited swag bags) now available for $10! Map/Swag Bag pickup will be Saturday, Oct 18th at 3:00pm. Can’t make it for pickup? No worries, your map will be sent via email starting October 18th.

Business Owners! We need you to sponsor the event with swag, candy and other Halloween goodies for gift bag. Cash or in-kind sponsors are appreciated. For more information email [email protected].

Pints for PTP / 99 Beers & a Yeti

Our Kiwanis club raises funds for every year for the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) which aims to reduce or eliminate injuries to children with a fundraiser we like to call Pints for PTP and a raffle called 99 Beers and a Yeti. The fundraiser is held every year at Flatland Brewing Company in the month of March and the drawing coincides with the Pints for PTP event. We raffle off a Yeti cooler valued at $300-$500 (value changes each year) and all the beer is donated by local craft breweries. To date, we have raised over $10,000 for the Pediatric Trauma Program!


Carnitas and Margaritas Feed

The Carnitas and Margaritas Feed is our flagship fundraiser sponsored by the City of Elk Grove and supports the majority of our programs. Our next event will be on Saturday, May 8th, 2027 and features an all-you-can-eat carnitas dinner with all the fixings, margaritas (of course), beer, a huge raffle, dessert auction, and silent auction. We appreciate the support of all our local restaurants and businesses for their donations.
