Our Kiwanis Club is a 501c3 non-profit and we rely on the generosity of donors to fund our programs and services. To raise funds, we hold various events throughout the year. Listed below are some of our current fundraisers.
Halloween Home Tour
Join us for our 6th Annual Halloween Home Tour! Do you go all out with your decorations? Do you live in zip code 95624, 95757 or 95758? Would you like a chance to win $100? Then signup as a home on our Halloween Home Tour.
Business Owners! We need you to sponsor the event with swag, candy and other Halloween goodies for gift bag. Cash or in-kind sponsors are appreciated. For more information email [email protected].
Love to get out with your friends or family to look at all the spooky decorations? Maps (and limited swag bags) will be available for $10 starting October 1st. Map/Swag Bag pickup will be Saturday, Oct 18th at 3:00pm. Can’t make it for pickup? No worries, your map will be sent via email starting October 18th.
Mad Hatter Tea Party
We are so excited about our next fundraiser which benefits the Tiny Tot Program at the Cosumnes Community Services District. Join in on the fun on Saturday, September 27th. Register for one of two sessions via the CSD website. The cost is $10 per person. This event is geared towards children ages 3+, but all ages are welcome. Light lunch with beverages, desserts, kids activities and games will be provided.

Whiskey & Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Join us for an evening of fine wine and whiskey tasting with fantastic appetizers and desserts. Our next event will be held on 11/8/25 at 6:00pm in the beautiful Valley Oak Ballroom at the Wackford Community Center. Tickets levels are $25 for Designated Driver, $40 for Wine Tasting, $50 for Whiskey Tasting, $65 for Whiskey & Wine Tasting.
The Carnitas and Margaritas Feed is our flagship fundraiser sponsored by the City of Elk Grove and supports the majority of our programs. Our next event will be on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 and features an all-you-can-eat carnitas dinner with all the fixings, margaritas (of course), beer, a huge raffle, dessert auction, and silent auction. We appreciate the support of all our local restaurants and businesses for their donations.
Egg My Yard
We love putting smiles on the faces of children and helping parents and this is exactly what the Egg My Yard fundraiser does. Parents purchase prefilled plastic Easter eggs (filled with candy and toys) and then on Easter eve we hide the eggs on the front lawn and leave a basket, treat and personalized letter from the Easter Bunny. This fundraiser is only available in the Elk Grove zip codes of 95624, 95757 and 95758.
Pints for PTP / 99 Beers & a Yeti
Our Kiwanis club raises funds for every year for the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) which aims to reduce or eliminate injuries to children with a fundraiser we like to call Pints for PTP and a raffle called 99 Beers and a Yeti. The fundraiser is held every year at Flatland Brewing Company in the month of March and the drawing coincides with the Pints for PTP event. We raffle off a Yeti cooler valued at $300-$500 (value changes each year) and all the beer is donated by local craft breweries. To date, we have raised over $10,000 for the Pediatric Trauma Program!
